We love Yahoo!, unabashedly.
Frankly, we'd better since we all work there. That aside, there are tons and tons of things that Yahoo! provides that most folks don't know about. We want to get the word out.
This is a totally unofficial, completely spur-the-moment blog brought about because someone said "Hey, wouldn't it be a good idea if...?"
A few things you should know:
- Although we work at Yahoo!, we can't always help you with your account. Seriously. Even if we wanted to. Take it up with our customer care folks. Yes, I know they send back automated responses, but there really are human beings working there and they really do help people. It may just take time to get through the millions of folks asking how to print out a web page before they get to see your question.
They are the ones that can actually fix things for you.
Still, if you've got a complaint or comment about something we talk about, (and it's coherent and not profanity laced), we'll try to answer it.
- Seriously, this isn't official. This is no where near official. Heck, it'll probably be shut down any day now. These rules alone will probably cause most of HR to have a heart attack.
- We're biased. 'nuff said.
- We reserve the right to delete, alter, or poke fun at, any comment. If the only thing you want to say is "Thes Suxx0rz!!" then expect to get either deleted or told to go back to playing with your Atari. We're not afraid of criticism, and in fact welcome it. But just like we don't think you're an idiot, don't assume we are either. Use full sentences.
- We don't expect you to love everything (we don't), but that doesn't mean you shouldn't try it. If you really like it, tell us. Even better, tell someone else.
