Yahoo! Cool Thing of the Day

I can explain! I ran out of gas. I had a flat tire. I didn't have enough money for cab fare. My tux didn't come back from the cleaners. An old friend came in from out of town. Someone stole my car. There was an earthquake. A terrible flood. Locust!!!

Ok, honestly? I got a weird programming itch last night that i didn't get properly scratched until about 1 AM last night. What was that itch, you ask?

It was a greasemonkey script to find vCard items on pages and provide a link to add them to your Yahoo! Trips. It's not pretty yet, but it shows what you can do with microformats like the ones on Y!Local. Eventually, it should get a LOT more love, but it's a quickie hack. The nice thing is that it should work on any page that uses the hCard microformat.

So, am I forgiven?
