Wish you were here…

No, really. Today is Open Hack Day and it's going to be a blast. I'll be there with probably way too much crap in my backpack, somewhat sleep deprived, and hopefully helping folks out where I can.
Sadly, if you can't make it, it doesn't mean that you can't play with stuff anyway.
And boy golly, do we have a lot of stuff for you to play with.
First off, we've got Browser Based Auth. Why is that handy? Well, it gives folks that use your web app access to stuff they've stored on Yahoo (e.g. music, briefcase, Y!Photos, 360 stuffs, etc.). You get a set of credentials you can use for your user and keeps things nice and secure.
Next up, and taking full advantage of the newly released BBAuth, is an API for fetching and storing Y!Photos. While not as easy to use as Flickr (but then, Y!Photos wasn't targeted at photo extroverts).
Rounding off the newly released joy, is a .Net Development center, JSON support for all Flickr Calls (Yay! No more weird XML parsing!), and PHP5 Wrappers and updated specs for Del.icio.us.
So, although we really do wish you were here, hopefully that will make it a little better.
