		<description>:) The proliferation of the Beta tag over every single new Web product that's released these days kind of annoys me, too, but I don't necessarily think that it's a bad thing if it's managed correctly. The intent is to release an unfinished product to a large audience in order to gather better feedback and iteratively improve, right? The Yahoo! Kids site does solicit feedback at the end of their little intro by Earl, and they're planning on pushing out more updates within the next few months, so it looks like the right spirit is there. The main thing I'd complain about in this case is that they've taken down the original Yahooligans site, so there's no option for kids to opt out of this Beta.

Hopefully that's on topic; I was just guessing at where you were going with the "beta ;_;" comment. :P</description>
