We can't help it. We're people... uhm... people.
For those familiar with what life was like even before shows used to spell out the h-t-t-p-colon-slash-slash part of their web address, (and no, that's not how Lincoln started off the Gettysburg Address), Yahoo! has always had groups of folks that go out and find cool stuff. We still do.
In fact, there are a couple of hidden treasures that have been around for a very long time. One of the oldest hidden treasures is Yahoo! Picks. Every day, for years, our editorial folks have been shining the spotlight on lesser known sites, and yeah, they run from the silly to the serious.
Another service we've had for quite some time as well is "Ask Yahoo!", a chance to get that answer that you may or may not really want to know.
So yeah, we're just as addicted to the web as you are, and we love finding stuff to tell you about.
