As Easy as Ctrl-Shift-Up/Down Arrow

We've mentioned the lack of threading in Yahoo! Mail Beta before. This is, sadly, not the post where we triumphantly declare that we've implemented real message threading in a fluid, fool-proof manner, but we do have another hacky work-around for you to play with. :D

Basically, if you have a message highlighted in your message list, you can press Ctrl-Shift-Up Arrow or Ctrl-Shift-Down Arrow to skip to the next or previous message in the thread (instead of just going to the next or previous message). This is a feature of Darren's Extended Navigation Hack --- mentioned in this post on the Yahoo! Mail blog --- which by default skips you around your inbox based on message subject, but can also be configured to look for flag status or particular email addresses.

And, no, I have no idea why you have to manually input the email address in the configuration dialog box instead of having an option to find emails based on the sender of the currently highlighted email. Just in case you were wondering. I was...
