So I&#8217;ll assume that I&#8217;m not repeating anything here. Basically, Instant Search is a cute application of the idea that, hey, if we think we know the search result that you&#8217;re looking for, why not show it to you right away instead of bothering to load up a new page? You can read more about it in the FAQ, but basically think of it like a &#8220;I&#8217;m Feeling Relatively Confident&#8221; option for your search page that&#8217;ll give you back the top result right away (especially if it&#8217;s one of our shortcuts).
