So I’ll assume that I’m not repeating anything here. Basically, Instant Search is a cute application of the idea that, hey, if we think we know the search result that you’re looking for, why not show it to you right away instead of bothering to load up a new page? You can read more about it in the FAQ, but basically think of it like a “I’m Feeling Relatively Confident” option for your search page that’ll give you back the top result right away (especially if it’s one of our shortcuts).
