Is that a Yahoo!? in your pocket?

Recently, i updated my phone. To be honest, I was a little bit hesitant to do it, because I had a Treo 650 which is the geek equivalent of a swiss army knife. The only thing was, I realized I wasn't using a lot of the extra blades that came with that particular knife, and it was getting to be a pain hauling around something that big.
So I down-scaled to a smaller, lighter phone. This, of course, meant that I was stuck with the crappy applications that came on it.
Well, no, not really. Turns out that there are free, downloadable versions of everything I was using before, including a far better browser than what came with the phone. I'm referring to Opera Mini, which not only lets me view most of what I need to while being out and about, but is darn fast and features a nice small font so I can read more than a word or two on the screen.
Ok, and it also features Yahoo! Search with the new Mobile-centric One Search, which is why I'm talking about it here.
So if you're looking for a mobile web device, but just aren't up to plunk down north of $300 for one, it's definitely an option to consider.
