Excuses, excuses.

I know, I know. You've been wanting to work on that widget for ages, but there are just so many obstacles preventing you from realizing these dreams! You don't have a widget reference guide --- to figure out all of the widget-specific functions and utilities that you can take advantage while building your widget --- or any other handy tutorials. You can't figure out how to make those glossy widget icons and reflective effects that make or break the entire project. If you happened to have already created a Photoshop mock of your widget, you wouldn't have a script to take that layered image and automatically convert it into a functioning widget. And even if you did have a finished widget, how the heck are you supposed to convert it into the correct widget formats for uploading to the Widget Gallery, possibly by means of another widget? I mean, seriously, with all of these roadblocks, how can you be expected to get anything done?

Widgets Workshop, my friend. Widgets Workshop. Now go forth and widgetize!
