Yahoo! Cool Thing of the Day

While glancing over the front page of RyanDoherty.net (seriously, not stalking you, Ryan, just followed an incoming link back to your site), I caught the title of one of his posts, "Emoticoncert", and thought, "That's an awesome pun, definitely warrants further investigation." The embedded YouTube video showed an avid Yahoo! messenger serenading his web-savvy female acquaintance by sending emoticon-enhanced lyrics in time with the music (Mad World, by Michael Andrew/Gary Jules), which is really darn creative and not an entirely terrible idea if you're running out of things to do for your somewhat geeky significant other for Valentine's Day. "This is really cool," I mused while forwarding the link on to several friends.
