Ian Smith over at Download Squad has put together a great list of the Top 11 Yahoo! Mail Tips and Tricks. It covers a lot of the basics about organizing your mailbox and using hotkeys, but also reveals a bunch of fun hidden gems, like the fact that you can scroll in your inbox (without selecting and loading messages) by pressing Ctrl and the arrow keys, or that you can add contacts to your Address Book by dragging a message from them onto the Contacts folder.
