There's a florist near where I work that is fantastic. They did a great job on a bouquet for my wife that lasted forever. I liked them so much I went and gave them a nice review in Y!Local. That's when I saw that a whole bunch of other folks also gave them five stars. They were the best florist in Santa Clara! I'm sure they'd love to know that!
The only bad thing is that they weren't on line. They're a florist, and the only computer in their shop is the 1980's era, monochrome cash register attached to a 12" monitor. Definitely not something that they're going to be surfing the net on anytime soon. How could I let them know how happy they made their customers?
Thanks to a recently lauched Y!Local effort, I was able to print out a nice page that told them just how much their customers loved them. They were thrilled, and unlike some generic sticker, this one actually told folks something useful.
So, know any small businesses who need a little love?
