Web Pinging

Wow, okay, almost too much cool stuff happening right now. The most prominent one has got to be the release of Yahoo! Messenger for the Web, our in-browser solution for all of your Yahoo! messenging needs. It's built in Flash, which might set off warning bells for some folks, but seriously, it's super fast and super slick. Nice tabbed messaging, avatars and emoticons, integration with MSN Messenger...simple, but definitely gets the job done. One extremely nice new feature that they've added is a searchable message history that basically archives all of your conversations like emails. Neat!
But, hey, I'm not really qualified to talk about this, so I'll leave it to the experts:
Head over to http://web.im (or http://webmessenger.yahoo.com) to check it out!
*fingers crossed* that they'll add multiple points of presence soon. At the moment, logging in will sign you out of any other messenger clients.
