		<description>Yeah, the Treo I've got from Sprint can't run a lot of Java apps, but I blame Sun and PalmSource for that more than I blame Sprint (Mostly because folks I know who have treos on other systems can't run those apps either). 

I haven't monkeyed around with the other phones all that often, but I fully expect that a lot of them are probably equally goofed. &lt;a href="http://www.russellbeattie.com/notebook/" rel="nofollow"&gt;Russell Beattie&lt;/a&gt; keeps a mobile blog where he talks about stuff like that. It's a good read if your into that sort of thing, or just curious.

For what it's worth, I use all the "old school" mobile apps that have worked fine with pretty much every web enabled phone I've got. Those are the ones at http://wap.oa.yahoo.com.</description>

		<description>i have a very common / popular samsung phone - the mm-a940, which is not listed.  it would be great if they updated that list more frequently, or if there were a way to be alerted when a certain phone were added...thanks.</description>
