Better Late Than Never

Ah, yes. Y! Cool Thing of the Day Late. My apologies, I was working on stuff in the office and somehow found myself on the wrong side of midnight.
So, what's the cool thing of yesterday? Custom Y! 360° Themes. The Yahoo! 360° team just pushed out a bunch of new features, among them the ability to finally upload personal background images and tailor the color scheme of your blog page to your own unique tastes. Just a quick sampling of the first comments on the blog post announcement exposed a smorgasbord of creative, individual themes (note: these links may be time sensitive, since people can change their themes as often as they like). Even better, we're given a button to disable people's themes that hurt our eyes. So that's our competitive advantage over MySpace!

On an unrelated note, we just finished up another Hack Day over here, which produced a ridiculous number of very cool things (nearly 100). Hopefully the various teams will quickly reveal their projects to the public and give us more stuff to write about here. :)
