How to (kinda-sorta) get threading on Y!Mail Beta

The Yahoo! Mail team hears you.
What's more, they also hear pretty non-stop from all the engineers in Yahoo! who also use the new Y!Mail beta.
They get it. You want message threading.
Honest, it really is on the block to be worked on, but there are a few bigger issues that need to be addressed, including the general roll-out, so it's still going to be a bit before it's officially introduced. That doesn't mean you can't get something sort of close to threading to hold you over for a bit.
The Y!Mail beta is chock full of semi-hidden quick keys and shortcuts. One of them is that if you Control+Click on the subject line of the message in the preview window (the bottom window where the selected message shows up), the beta automatically searches for messages that match that subject line. Since search is fairly fast, and it's smart enough to ignore stuff like "RE:" and "FW:" it brings up a list of the various messages that match that subject, giving you a semi-threaded view of the mail.
Kinda.
Sorta.

Yes, ok, THEY'RE WORKING ON IT!

[...] We’ve mentioned the lack of threading in Yahoo! Mail Beta before. This is, sadly, not the post where we triumphantly declare that we’ve implemented real message threading in a fluid, fool-proof manner, but we do have another hacky work-around for you to play with. :D [...]
